After reading this post at MacRumors.com I just had to post it in my blog, this is a great rumor and I do hope it is true. If true this does go to show that the iPad mixed signals launch is finally gaining steam. We are in the midst of planning out iPad oriented apps and projects. The cool thing is that even if FileMaker Pro 11 does not get iPaded with Bento, iTouch or a full App for iPhone/iPad can be created or sync'd with FileMaker Pro. But being the devils' advocate let's wait and see what comes along in the 6 - 12 months from companies like HP with the slated "Slate". iPad could have been so much more, but that being said I and many clients can make use of the iPad, though I would have preferred Flash finally in the mobile Safari, a removable battery, the ability to use a stylus and of course the Grand wish of being able to load up a full copy of FileMaker Pro 11... so Santa just did not get my letter when it was sent to Cupertino.. oh well :D

"In the lead up to the iPad launch, a number of leaks have revealed some of the iPad App Store launch titles. While popular iPhone games such as Flight Control and Real Racing are amongst the first group of apps, one of the big promises of the iPad was that productivity apps would be able to make further use the iPad's extra screen real estate.
Apple's iWork applications Keynote, Pages and Numbers are known to be making the jump to iPad. Meanwhile, OmniGroup also also pre-announced that they will be delivering their 5 of their productivity tools to the iPad.

Like the iPhone app, Bento for iPad can be used as a standalone
app or will wirelessly synchronize with Bento 3 for the Mac. The App
comes with dozens of ready to use database templates that can be
customized for your own usage. The iPad version of Bento is
priced at $4.99, the same as the current price for the iPhone version."
